Soft DNF List - aka To Be Continued
Across The Green Grass Fields - Seanan McGuire. This is a stand alone in the series so I read on the internet. I got about 45% through before I got bored with it. I will finish it, but who knows when.
Poetic Edda - Jackson Crawford. I got pissed at something Odin said, so I took a break. Left off after the Havamal,
The Drawing of the Three - Stephen King - in no mood to read his books as off April 39, 2024. Left off at 33%.
Assistant To the Villain - Hannah Nicole Maehrer - the narration wasn't good. Should be read as a physical book. Left off at 13%. →
But, what does DNF mean? It's an acronym for Did Not Finish.
Why did you not finish that book though? I decided in late 2023 or very early 2024 I would stop reading books if I could not get into them by 30% in. I could stop reading earlier as well if I just couldn't get into a book.
What is a soft DNF? It is a book I plan on continuing, but am not reading it any longer despite starting it. There is a high chance it will go on my permanent DNF list above. These books are not to be mixed in with the books on my permanent DNF list that I may try to read again in the future.
You wrote a review for a book you put on the DNF list? Yes I did! Sometimes I feel the need to explain why I put it on the DNF list. You can see all the reviews for these books on the DNF Reviews page.
