Pattern Notes
• ch3 will ALWAYS be considered a dc unless otherwise stated for rows 1-20. You will be skipping the first stitch on each row that has a ch3 because of this.
• Ch1 WILL NOT count as a stitch.

If you have done a Jacobs Ladder blanket or something similar this should be easy for you. However if you have not please follow along.
With the RS facing you take the 2nd set of chains and insert it into the 1st set of chains from the back. Do this for each set of chains. The last set will not be attached to anything. We will be doing that next. To help the chains stay in place add a stitch marker into the chains and a near-by stitch.

For the border rounds you will always have the right side RS facing you.
