Directions

Stitch marker placement for round 1.

Round 1: With CA ch5, join with a sl st to 1st ch to make a loop. Ch3 counts as a dc, 11dc in loop, join with a sl st to top of beg ch3. 12dc

Round 2: ch3 counts as a dc, dc in next 2 sts, * ch5, dc in next 3 sts * 3 times, ch5, sl st to top of beg ch3. Finish Off. With removable stitch markers mark each of the sts from round 1 that line up with the middle dc of the 3dc. 12dc, 4 ch5 sps

Round 3: Join CB with a sc in any ch5 sp, 4sc in same sp, * (sc in next st, fptr in st you marked in round 2, sc in next st), 5sc in next ch5 sp * 3 times, then ( ) once. Join with a sl st to 1st sc. 28sc, 4 fptr

Round 4: ch3 counts as a dc, dc in next st, * 2dc, ch2, 2dc in next st, dc in next 7 sts * 4 times – omitting last 2 sts. Join with a sl st to top of beg ch3. Finish Off. 44dc, 4 ch2 sps
