Directions

ROUND 1: With CA ch4, join with a sl st to 1st ch to make a loop. Ch3 counts as a dc, 11 dc in loop. Join with a sl st in top of beg ch3. Finish Off 12dc

ROUND 2: With CB join with a bpsc in any st, bpsc in next 11 sts. Join with a sl st to 1st bpsc. 12bpsc

ROUND 3: ch3 counts as a dc, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in next 11 sts. Join with a sl st in top of beg ch3. 24dc

ROUND 4: *ch5, sk 3 sts, sl st in next st * 6 times – working last sl st into joining st of prev rnd. Mark each st with a sl st in it as you need to know these stitches in round 8. 6 ch6 sps, 6 sl st

ROUND 5: sl st to ch5 sp, ch3 counts as a dc, 5dc in same ch5 sp, * sl st into sl st, 6dc in next ch5 sp * 5 times, sl st into next sl st, join with a sl st to top of beg ch3. 36dc, 6 sl st

ROUND 6: ch1, sc in same st as joining, * (hdc & dc in next st, dc & tr in next st, tr & dc in next st, dc & hdc in next st, sc in next st, sl st in next st should be sl st of prev rnd), sc in next st* 5 times then ( ) once more. ROUND 7: You will be working in the skipped sts of round 4 and the sts of round 6 including the sl st. Join CC with a sl st in 1st sc of any petal, * sl st in next 4 sts, working in sk sts of rnd 4 work a dtr3tog, sl st in next 7 sts * these are the 5 sts left on the petal with dtr3tog, the sl st of rnd 6, & the 1st 5 sts of next petal, 6 times omitting last sl st.
