For those who got excited over Last Action Hero - this is a book for us. We may have ended up going towards all sorts of different genres - but it all started with metal & we all wanted to be rock stars.
This is really a book of the stories & warnings we where told would happen to us should we do the rock & roll life style. We would either have to sell our souls - even unintentionally or become washed up adults working 'menial' jobs. I love how Grady Hendrix captured it.
I also had that one South Park episode called Major Boobage stuck in my head while reading this.
And nu-metal is ok to listen to. If you're still stuck on that after all these years you have some issues you need help with.
