Review:

I really wanted to like this.  I do a bit.  The writing is good, but it's a whole new world to learn and not enough time to learn it.

In short, it it what it says it is - a science fiction story.

In long, it is a bit confusing.  I hate to keep referencing books like this to the TV show Lost, but really I have no other reference to how I feel about this except how I felt about Lost.  I am a full believer you have to be high and/or drunk to understand Lost and this applies to this book for me.  Or maybe you can understnd this with severe sleep deprivation?  Or I am not meant to read these sorts of stories, just watch them in movies & TV shows.

Goodreads Description:

Quiver, a mostly-human astronaut, takes refuge from the monotony of harvesting minerals on remote asteroids by running through a virtual reality called the Lights, chasing visions of an elusive red-haired beauty. Her high-strung robot partner, Mic, pilots their Wobble and entertains himself by surfing the records of the obliterated planet Earth stored on his Swift Wheel for Al Pacino trivia, recipes for reconstituted sushi, and high fashion trends. But when an accident destroys their cargo, Quiver and Mic go rogue, setting off on a madcap journey through outer space toward an idyllic destination: the planet Trafik.
